Our goal at OpenAir is to promote safety, value, and standardized training to all Cirrus customers. We are a certified Cirrus Standardized Training Center.

As a Cirrus Standardized Training Center, this will allow us to provide an even higher level of customer support in our flying of all types of Cirrus Aircraft. As always, we will continue to promote safety, value, and standardization to all Cirrus customers by focusing on customer satisfaction and continues improvement through ongoing training.

We have a staff of highly dedicated Flight Instructors and office staff who are here to provide you with the best flying experience. It starts from the moment you arrive at the airport until you reach your goal or destination. This isn’t the next step in aviation; it’s the future of flight training.

OpenAir Glass Cockpit Flight Training was founded by Bryan Rivillas and Michael Klein as a way of introducing technologically advanced aircraft to the pilots of the Washington DC metropolitan area. Using Cirrus SR20 aircraft as a training platform we are able to provide customers with an aircraft that is versatile and rugged yet simple to fly. We are conveniently located at Montgomery County Airpark in Gaithersburg Maryland, minutes from the nation’s capital and the I-270 Technology Corridor.
